Auchentoroly Terrace welcomes Spring with clean up and BPD coordination.
In what was the first “in person” event of 2021, the members of New Auchentoroly Terrace Neighborhood Association cleaned up the streets from Whittier to Parkwood. The efforts of the early risers brought onlookers out to join them. Neighbors who met for the first time or matched up the images on the zoom calls with their flesh and blood counterparts.
After the clean up, Sgt. Rosser, liason of the Western District, introduced some of the officers in the neighborhood and the shift commander Lt. Quaranto. The topic of the discussion was the strategies to address persistent drug traffic and the externalities that accompany it. Through the combined efforts of the residents and police, the community hopes to build a more safe and inviting place to live.
Light refreshments were provided and Fellipe and Anne Goncalves barbequed to end the meeting.
The next Meeting of the Auchentoroly Terrace Association is on April 8th from 6 pm – 8pm on Zoom. The next clean is tenantively scheduled for April 17th from 9am to 11am.
