Volunteers are needed for the Mayor’s Citywide Spring Cleanup
Saturday, April 29, 2017!
Meet 9 A.M. at 3326 Auchentoroly Terrace
Community Service Workers will assist residents in the cleaning of our HOTSPOT areas. We’ll meet at Dr. Bell’s @ 9 A.M.(3326 Auchentoroly Terrace) Bags are available for pick up. Block Captains, please mobilize the residents in your block to begin Spring Beautification Projects. A dumpster was requested, but I’ve not been notified by DPW.
Keeping Our Community Clean
Your Responsibilities:
- Keep your property clear of trash and well maintained.
Clean your sidewalk, alley, gutter and storm drain.
Cut your grass,trim the trees and shrubs on your property. - Bait for rats on your property and rat-proof your home.
- Report illegal dumping, dirty streets/alleys,abandoned vehicles, criminal activity, loitering and graffiti by calling 311.
- Participate in community cleanups.
- Use your durable Municipal Trash cans with tight -fitting lids.
- Put your trash out the morning of trash pick-up,scheduled Friday and Recycling on Wednesday.
